Thanks Shady. We have a lot of depressing "before" photos of the house. There are days when I look at it and feel like nothing has changed but then I look back at those pictures and realize just how much has. It's just much of it are the kinds of things which aren't readily noticeable but necessary (wiring, plumbing, gutters, etc.). Interior painting of most spaces starts tomorrow which will really make a huge difference in how I feel about the place.

I'm delighted to see you back posting again and jealous as all getout over the Viking. My kitchen is a decent work space but the cooktop area was (foolishly) sized for a specific, small Jenn-air that is only adequate and going down hill from there. I don't know what you've got where you live, but here summer's bounty is ramping up and food, glorious local food is the theme of the day. Let's cook up a storm. :)
