Where else do I write about food, you may wonder?
I've been writing meal reviews for a website called "Chowhound" for many years. If you click on the title of this post, I've linked it so that it will bring you to my recent review of a lunch Ghosty and I had the other day at a local Italian place, Ill Amici in Linden. It was quite lovely, and I recommend the restaurant highly if you enjoy authentic old style Italian cooking in an unpretentious atmosphere.
I used to post there under a different name, "Sivyaleah" (which is my Hebrew name) but recently changed it to "Elora" to protect the innocent hehe. One of my older reviews was for a restaurant in New Jersey; David Drake in Rahway, This review was so well received that the restaurant even noticed it and linked it to their website for a very long time. You may be able to find it on Chowhound if you were so inclined to search it out. Or you can just search and find other reviews I've done through the years although the search is kind of tedious on the site - I have to admit it doesn't work very efficiently as it should.
I also recommend Chowhound to those who love food, and discussing it with others. It not only provides a place to post reviews of where you've eaten, but has boards for a myriad of other food (and drink - there are wine and beer boards too) related subjects. It's a community of kind hearted people who go out of their way to help each other and unlike certain "other" boards some of us know of, everyone seems to respect each other and rarely is a moderator needed to step in for any reason.
