Easy As Pie

Tonight was pizza pie night. I had purchased a couple of premade pizza crusts from Wegmans yesterday, along with a small container of pizza sauce (quite tasty!). They also carry fresh mozzerella made on the premises; that along with a few other ingredients and an easy dinner was in the works.
Ghosty enjoys Hawaiian pies. Me? Not so much. But that was easily solved by being able to grab some sliced pineapple and chopped ham off the salad bar. I wanted something more traditional and settled for a Margarita; cheese, some sweet sliced tomatoes and chopped up argula and basil (the basil from my deck garden).
About 15 minutes in the oven, simple, easy, quick and relatively inexpensive in comparison to calling it in, surprisingly. I'll be using a fresh dough next time, which I normally do. I tried this one to save a bit of time, we both agreed it was just "ok". I might even finally splurge on a pizza stone. I've been eyeing one at Williams Sonoma for a while :)
