Isn't this pretty? This photo was taken late November in Barcelona several years ago. I passed by a confectionery store and was struck by the Christmas arrangement in the window. The tree was made of sugar and lollipops. It was my 1st day in the City, it was snowing (the 1st time in 18 years, a remarkable occurrence). My my ex and I decided to go out, just start exploring without any destination in mind more to clear the jet lag out of our heads. I don't remember which camera I used at the time, I think it may be my digital Nikon APS. The original is M.I.A. and I'd scanned the printed photo which is why this is a bit cockeyed. I came across it in my computer the other day, and being it's food related, decided to give it a home here. It reminds me of the best vacation I'd ever taken, in a country full of wonderful feasts for the stomach, eyes and mind. My tidbit of the day as I'm working on other things.
